If the printer randomly is turning on, then the printer is having an electrical problem with the power switch.
Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet. Turn on the printer if it does not turn on by itself.

When there are multiple devices plugged into your printer, it may lose power and turn off. Check whether the USB cable runs directly from your PC to the printer, or try a different cable if available. If the printer is connected to a USB hub, disconnect the hub then connect directly to the computer and printer
