As a rule of thumb, bring only one top and one underwear for each day you’re camping, plus one extra each. The pants should be half this number, as you could use them for two days. Make sure to pack laundry detergents too.

As for the shoes, two pairs are normally enough.

You’d also want to pack one swimwear if there’s a body of water nearby.

If you’re camping during the summer, you’d want to wear clothes that will keep you cool and dry but still covers your skin to avoid insect bites. Be sure to choose breathable fabrics such as cotton and linen.

Even if it’s the summer, you can expect the nights to be chilly, so be sure to pack sweatshirts and sweatpants too.

No matter the season, you can expect the temperatures to change throughout the day, so it’s best to layer your clothes so you don’t have to change to an entirely new outfit if it starts to feel warm.
