Back when I was studying through gamsat physics, I struggled a lot to get a handle on my procrastination. But I eventually figured it out, which had a great impact on my GAMSAT results.

The key for me was to just have a schedule and get rid of distractions. I got a program to block games and social media apps during my study time and turned off my phone for that time as well. Since I had nothing else to do at that time except study, I ended up not procrastinating at all. Essentially at that point procrastinating would have been more boring than studying, so it became less of a temptation.

It also helps to set reasonable goals for yourself, since pressure and stress make you more likely to procrastinate. So instead of trying to study six hours a day every day, start trying to study for three hours daily, and only increase the workload once you achieve that initial goal.
