To date, I’ve only cleared the RAM on my iPad. I think that’s the main challenge with RAM it’s occupied with unnecessary storage. So, to clear the RAM space on my iPad, I do the following-
- Hold down my iPad’s Sleep/Wake button at the top or on the side of my iPad’s casing. You hold it down until you find the Power Off screen.
- Once you find the “slide to power off” screen, release the Sleep/Wake button on your iPad.
- Press and hold down the home button. The screen will blank a bit, and you can return to your device’s home screen. Your iPad’s RAM will have been cleared. The Home button is the circle button below the screen of your iPad.
You can also try the following-
- Open your iPad’s Settings. Find and tap the icon on your home screen to open the Settings app.
- Tap General in Settings. This option is next to the icon on the Settings menu.
- Tap Accessibility in General.
- Tap Assistive Touch in Accessibility to let you perform actions without using the buttons around the casing of your iPad.
- Slide the Assistive Touch switch to power on. If this option is enabled, then you’ll find a gray button on your screen. Tap this button to utilize Assistive Touch features.
- For going back to the General page in Settings, you can tap the back button on the top-left corner of your iPad’s screen until you see the General menu.
- Scroll down and tap Shut Down. This option is at the bottom of the General menu. You can find the “slide to power off” screen.
- By tapping the Assistive Touch icon on your screen, which appears like a gray circle icon in a square, your options will expand.
- By pressing and holding down the home button on the Assistive Touch menu, your screen will become blank after a few seconds, and you can return to your iPad’s home screen. By now your device’s RAM will be cleared.

I have an HP desktop and I have observed that there could be multiple reasons why your computer’s USP may not function as effectively as it’s expected to. I usually probe a lot for my computer repair in Lake Elsinore. If you’re also facing any issue with the UPS of your device, then probe according to the following steps-
- Always confirm that the UPS batteries are charged to the proper level for running. For additional information, check the UPS documentation.
- You must ensure that the UPS power switch is in the on position. For the location of the switch, check the UPS documentation.
- You must be sure that the UPS software is updated to the most up-to-date version. I normally apply for the Power Management software located on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Website.
- Make sure that the power cord is the perfect type for the UPS and the country in which the server is situated. For specifications, check the UPS reference guide.
- Confirm whether the line cord is connected.
- Be sure that each circuit breaker is in the on position, or replace the fuse if required. If this repeatedly occurs, contact an authorized service provider.
- Check the UPS LEDs to ensure that a battery or site wiring issue has not occurred. Check the UPS documentation.
- When the UPS sleep mode is initiated, disable sleep mode for effective operation. The UPS sleep mode can be powered off through the configuration mode on the front panel.
- Replace the battery to confirm that the damage was not caused due to excessive heat, especially if a recent air conditioning outage has occurred
According to a computer repair store in Lake Elsinore, the optimal operating temperature for UPS batteries is 25°C (77°F). For nearly every 8°C to 10°C (16°F to 18°F) average increase in ambient temperature above the optimal temperature, battery life is minimized by 50 percent.
