I am a 40 years guy who lives in South America.
I have been trying to find a way to make money online since 2011, something that I could enjoy doing.

I started with a website about my computer repair services in west palm beach. I did ok. I mean it brought in many calls and I did lots of work. On-site computer repair has many problems. Liability, crazy people, nobody wants to pay much, cell phones have really taken over so fewer computer calls and more just technology calls for wifi or smart tv setup.

A services job really sucks. you always have to be on call when people need you. people expect abnormal results for very little pay
its just not good, and it has become very hard to survive on that, mainly because i hate it now.

I started my own website and did ok, so I decided to start offering SEO. I thought that was my way out of a services job…
it has been a huge roller coaster, trying every old and outdated stuff I could find. Nothing seems to work anymore. I’ve given up on PBNs and most of the other garbage.

I have read a lot about blogging but I have never done one because I am not the best writer and coming up with new content all the time that’s good enough for Google to put on the first page just seems like an impossible feat.

However here I sit at my desk reading your blog which is number one when I searched for

“how to be a professional blogger in 2018”

So i started reading… I see that you started in 2014 and you make money doing this. I could really use help. I feel totally lost and I am almost 40.

can you please give me the proper and working path to follow or any real guidance?

I am pretty good with graphic design with vector or pix. I design all of my client sites on WordPress so I know it well. I have just never used it for its true intent.

If you can help me understand or follow the right path to something that actually works and brings in any money I would be grateful. I make about $2000 a month right now in SEO but results are getting worse and $2000 barely pays rent in South America.

I want to increase my income more because style is more expensive than my income
