How does AI work? AI employs machine learning to imitate human intelligence. The computer must learn to respond to specific events, so it uses algorithms and previous data to build what is known as a propensity model. Propensity models then begin making predictions. Computers and software must have a wealth of knowledge about the world to frequently perform and behave like humans. AI requires access to categories, properties, objects, and the relationships between them all to apply knowledge engineering. AI is a catalyst for common sense, analytical thinking and problem solving within machines.
