What can I do to stop procrastinating on my studies?
Back when I was studying through gamsat physics, I struggled a lot to get a handle on my procrastination. But I eventually figured it out, which had a great impact on my GAMSAT results.
The key for me was to just have a schedule and get rid of distractions. I got a program to block games and social media apps during my study time and turned off my phone for that time as well. Since I had nothing else to do at that time except study, I ended up not procrastinating at all. Essentially at that point procrastinating would have been more boring than studying, so it became less of a temptation.
It also helps to set reasonable goals for yourself, since pressure and stress make you more likely to procrastinate. So instead of trying to study six hours a day every day, start trying to study for three hours daily, and only increase the workload once you achieve that initial goal.
Sometimes, what you think I think also. It’s not come for your laziness, inattentiveness is one of the reasons. Keep a actual procedure during your study time.
No1. Keep healthy your mind. Yoga and exercise are good.
No2. Be active during study time. Don’t divert your mind to others thing.
No3. Try varitiness. A child’s education is isolated due to lack of varitiness. Try new concept, chapter, online education, etc.
You have an aim and Vision. If both these things are strong, you dont take the risk of procrastination
While there is no one-size-fits-all solution for every student, there are things you can do to assist your child in overcoming procrastination. The not-so-hidden “secret” to overcoming procrastination before it takes hold is to develop positive habits. Few tips:
- Convert large assignments into small tasks
- Make a daily schedule of the work that needs to be done
- Remove distractions
- Schedule reminders
- Take 10 minute-planned breaks after studying for 30 mins
Hope it helps.
