Why is solar energy renewable?
The sun gives energy to plants, which get their energy from photosynthesis. The plants absorb the energy from the sun and this makes the plants release oxygen which is used by humans to breathe. Additionally, plants use this energy from the sun to make food out of the plants needed for themselves. When humans eat plants, we get their food and also take in the oxygen they also made. This helps to replenish the air we breathe. Sun, plants, and humans all depend on each other for survival. We need plants because we need their food and oxygen, and plants need us to get their waste, namely oxygen into the air so they can survive.
